Full grooming with a haircut starts at $65 small, $80 medium and $100 large. A Face, Feet & Fanny partial groom starts at $50 small, $65 medium and $85 large. Cat baths start at $70. Where is La Bone Pet Spa located?

La Bone Pet Spa is at 8739 Stirling Road, Cooper City, FL 33328, inside the Stirling Town Center plaza. It serves Cooper City, Davie, Southwest Ranches, Pembroke Pines, Weston, Plantation and the surrounding Broward County area. The phone number is (954) 680-0668.

What are La Bone Pet Spa’s hours?

La Bone Pet Spa is open Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is closed on Sunday, Monday and observed holidays. Drop-off appointments run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM so that full grooms are finished before closing.

How long does a grooming appointment take?

A full groom at La Bone Pet Spa takes about three to four hours, depending on the size and condition of the coat. Baths and partial grooms usually take two to three hours. Pets are not left in cage dryers — the drying is done by hand, which takes longer but is safer and produces a better finish. You are called as soon as your pet is ready.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Appointments are strongly preferred and should be made at least 24 to 48 hours ahead. Walk-ins are accepted Tuesday through Thursday only, subject to availability and restrictions. Saturdays are appointment-only and must be booked no later than the Thursday before. You can request a time through the booking form on this site or call (954) 680-0668.

What vaccinations does my pet need before grooming?

Dogs groomed at La Bone Pet Spa must be current on DHPPC, Rabies and Bordetella, with a recent fecal exam. Cats must be current on Rabies, Feline Distemper and Feline Leukemia, with a recent fecal exam. Any pet found with fleas or ticks is treated at the owner’s expense.

Does La Bone Pet Spa groom cats?

Yes. La Bone Pet Spa grooms cats as well as dogs. A cat bath — warm bath, full dry, ear cleaning, nails and glands — starts at $70, and a Face, Feet & Fanny cat groom that adds a sanitary trim and tidied face starts at $80. Cats are worked on slowly and quietly, and must be current on Rabies, Feline Distemper, Feline Leukemia and a fecal exam.

Can you groom an old, anxious or matted dog?

Yes, with honesty about the limits. La Bone Pet Spa has groomed senior and anxious pets for twenty-five years, and asks owners to bring something that smells like home for dogs with separation anxiety. Severely matted coats are charged $20 per hour of dematting on top of the groom, and the groomer reserves the right to decline dematting if it cannot be done humanely — in those cases a short cut is recommended instead. A release form is required for elderly, infirm or seriously matted pets.

Who is the groomer at La Bone Pet Spa?

The owner and lead groomer is Jennifer "Jenny" Uzcatequi, a Master Groomer certified by the National Dog Grooming Association of America. She has owned and operated La Bone Pet Spa since 2000, and her background covers canine nutrition, skin care, behaviour management and breeding. She is a pet parent of six dogs herself.

What does La Bone Pet Spa sell besides grooming?

Alongside grooming, La Bone Pet Spa & Boutique carries pet clothing and high-end fashions, jewellery and personalised rhinestone collars, a full line of all-natural pet foods, and freshly baked gourmet treats from its in-house pet bakery. Everything is sold in person at the shop in Cooper City — there is no online store and no shipping. Special orders are available for items not in stock; call (954) 680-0668 to ask what is in. The spa also raises and places puppies.
